Dr. Vikas Gupta, MD, is part of Comprehensive Cancer’s medical oncology team that provides world-class cancer care in a supportive and caring environment.
EDUCATION
Vikas Gupta, MD, graduated from Government Medical College in Patiala, India with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research and at University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medical and Biomedical Sciences. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology at the All India Institute of Medical Services and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Gupta is a medical oncologist and hematologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers where he treats patients with cancer and serious blood disorders. Prior to joining the practice in 2017, he worked as an oncologist and hematologist at HealthCare Partners Nevada Oncology/Hematology and Nevada Cancer Center.
He has co-authored a number of publications and has extensive research experience. Dr. Gupta has received several awards and recognitions including America’s Most Honored Professionals from The American Registry as well as the On-Time Physician and Patients’ Choice awards from Vitals.com.
PERSONAL
Dr. Gupta is married with one son. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and traveling. He is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.

Cancer does not just affect the patient, but the entire family. My goal is to not only provide quality cancer care and treatment to the patient, but also involve the whole family in the treatment decisions of their loved ones and offer support.
