Bethany Baird, MSN, RN, AGNP-C, AOCNP is part of Comprehensive Cancer Centers’ Advanced Practice Provider team that provides world-class care in a supportive and caring environment.

EDUCATION
Bethany Baird, MSN, RN, AGNP-C, AOCNP, graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in nursing before receiving her Master of Science in nursing in adult-gerontology from the University of Cincinnati.

EXPERIENCE
Bethany began her career as a student intern-registered nurse (RN) at Union Hospital in Maryland before moving to Las Vegas in 2006 to work as a travel nurse. After a few months, she took a full-time position at Southern Hills Hospital in Southwest Las Vegas gaining medical-surgical experience before discovering an interest in oncology. She moved to outpatient practice in 2008 as an RN at Comprehensive Cancer Centers (Comprehensive). After earning her master’s degree in 2019, she joined Hope Cancer Care of Nevada to stay in the field of oncology as an APRN until returning to Comprehensive in 2023.

PERSONAL
Born and raised in upstate New York, Bethany now spends most of her time outside the office with her husband and three young kids at the hockey rink, grass fields or pool. An animal and outdoor enthusiast, Bethany fosters dogs for a local animal rescue, leads her daughter’s Girl Scouts troop and is often found planning her family’s next camping or national park trip.

PATIENT PHILOSOPHY
Every patient has the right to superior care grounded by the most current evidence-based practice, and they should not need to leave the state of Nevada to access it. Oncology research is rapidly updating, one must commit to becoming a life-long learner to stay abreast as a provider in such a challenging field. I enjoy applying research to community practice and, in turn, educating my patients to guide them in becoming experts in their care. We meet patients at the best and worst of times, it’s an unparalleled relationship that demands compassion and dedication, and I am honored to be a part of it.
