Our pulmonologists in Las Vegas also treat patients suffering from sleep disorders with at home sleep studies in the convenience of your own home. At-home sleep tests are an easy, cost-effective way to diagnose trouble breathing by wearing a simple monitor that tracks your breathing, oxygen levels, and breathing effort while worn during sleep. There is a number of sleep disorders that can decrease a person’s quality of life and can cause problems if left untreated, including:

Sleep Apnea is a common sleep disorder cause by the soft tissue in the throat falling and blocking the airway. When this happens, our bodies naturally wake us up briefly to open the airway so we can breathe again. Sleep Apnea can cause complications down the road if not treated early. Treatment options range from machines that help with breathing to surgery.
