Comprehensive Cancer Centers (Comprehensive) and Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theodore are taking their awareness and proactive measures to combat breast cancer to the next level with donations totaling $100,000 stemming from Comprehensive’s $500 per-point pledge based on Theodore’s points scored during the 2020-2021 season.

The donations are running through a program called Kay’s Power Play. Kay’s Power Play is a fund launched in November 2020 to benefit Susan G. Komen Nevada, and is named in honor of Shea’s grandmother Kay Darlington, a beloved breast cancer patient at Comprehensive. After completing their mammogram, Southern Nevada women may receive a limited edition and specially designed Mammo Cup patch at certain locations.
