Tooba Mohammad, MD is part of Comprehensive Cancer’s team of breast surgeon oncologists that provide patient treatment in a supportive and caring environment.

EDUCATION
Dr. Tooba Mohammad earned her Bachelor of Science from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Maryland before receiving her medical degree with high honors from Ross University School of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Mohammad completed her residency in general surgery at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital Affiliated to Temple University School of Medicine. Additionally, she completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Rutgers Cancer Institute and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Jersey’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This fellowship is also accredited by the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO).

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Mohammad is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship trained breast surgical oncologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers, where she treats patients with cancer and non-cancer related diseases of the breast. Prior to joining Comprehensive Cancer Centers, Dr. Mohammad completed core clinical rotations in surgery, OB/GYN, psychiatry, family medicine, pediatrics and internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. Additionally, Dr. Mohammad has completed elective clinical rotations and general surgery residency-surgical rotations in hospitals and medical centers across the United States, including Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Saint Joseph Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan, and Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

PERSONAL
Dr. Mohammad enjoys literature, podcasts, live theatre, films, and television, appreciating well-narrated stories across diverse mediums. She enjoys learning new skills, especially those related to technology and engineering. Her favorite pastime is embarking on road trips with her husband and their two dogs, discovering new places together.

There is a wealth of information, knowledge, tools, and experience in the field of breast disease.
