EDUCATION
Dr. Tooba Mohammad earned her Bachelor of Science from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Maryland before receiving her medical degree with high honors from Ross University School of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Mohammad completed her residency in general surgery at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital Affiliated to Temple University School of Medicine. Additionally, she completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Rutgers Cancer Institute and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Jersey’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This fellowship is also accredited by the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO).
EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Comprehensive Cancer Centers, Dr. Mohammad completed core clinical rotations at Mt Sinai Hospital in Chicago in affiliation with UIC and Cook County, which inspired her to pursue a career in surgery. After graduating from medical school, she completed her general surgery training at a busy level I trauma center and regional tertiary care center in central Pennsylvania. During her surgical training, she traveled to UPMC in Pittsburgh to complete her pediatric surgery, hepatobiliary, and transplant surgery rotations. During her fourth year in general surgery residency, she was accepted into and completed the Breast Surgery Resident Scholars Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY for her elective rotation.
PERSONAL
Dr. Mohammad enjoys literature, podcasts, live theatre, films, and television.

Dr. Mohammad’s goal is to provide evidence-based treatment that achieves excellent outcomes, tailored to the needs of each patient. There is a wealth of information, knowledge, tools, and experience in the field of breast disease. One of the biggest joys of her work is using all possible resources to make the process of getting expert, specialized care as easy as possible for her patients.
