EDUCATION
Stacey Cunningham, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, earned her Associate of Science in nursing from the Community College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada. She completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois before earning a Master of Science in nursing with an executive leadership focus from the same institution.
EXPERIENCE
Stacey brings nearly two decades of diverse and extensive nursing experience to Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, she has completed rigorous clinical rotations gaining valuable experience in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, health promotion and disease prevention across various patient populations.
Her career as a registered nurse spans multiple specialties, including critical care, cardiac services, and emergency medicine. Stacey has worked in post anesthesia care units, monitoring patients during recovery and managing post-anesthesia needs. She also served as a structural heart coordinator and cardiac coordinator, where she played a role in patient care coordination, quality improvement initiatives, and staff education for complex cardiac procedures. In addition, her foundational experience in the emergency department helped her develop expertise in rapid patient assessment, triage, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
PERSONAL
Stacey is married with two children and enjoys spending quality time with friends. She loves vacationing at the beach, where she can relax and recharge.
