EDUCATION
Chau Nguyen, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, FNP-BC, OCN earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Colorado, Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Roseman University of Health Sciences. She earned her Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Samuel Merritt University.
EXPERIENCE
Chau is a nurse practitioner at Comprehensive Cancer Centers (Comprehensive) Southwest—Southern Hills Treatment Center. She focuses on providing quality care to patients and assists in diagnosing, evaluating, and treating acute and chronic medical conditions. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner and oncology nurse and has additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
Chau began her career as a registered nurse (RN) with Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in 2017, where she worked in the infusion center and ensured optimal patient care. She moved to California in 2019 and worked as an RN and nurse practitioner in various positions at the Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula, Kaiser Permanente, Dignity Health Medical Group, and Montage Health before returning to Nevada.
PERSONAL
A Colorado native, Chau relocated to Nevada to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner in oncology. She enjoys connecting with nature through hiking and traveling. Above all, she cherishes spending time with her family and three puppies. She looks forward to new experiences and personal fulfillment.
