Comprehensive Cancer Centers (Comprehensive) has hired radiation oncologist W. Andrew Wang, MD.
Dr. Wang will see patients at Comprehensive’s Southwest Treatment Center (9280 W. Sunset Road, Suite 100, Las Vegas, Nevada 89148) and Summerlin Radiation/CyberKnife Treatment Center (655 N. Town Center Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89144) effective August 1. Dr. Wang is the ninth radiation oncologist to join the practice. Prior to joining Comprehensive, Dr. Wang was a radiation oncology resident at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. He brings extensive training in new technology and procedures to the practice and his research findings have appeared in a number of industry publications including the Journal of Neurosurgery, the Journal of Neuro-Oncology and Physics in Medicine and Biology.
Dr. Wang earned his B.S. in chemical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles and his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
