Dr. Lin-Duffy will see patients at Comprehensive’s Breast Surgery Office in Henderson (1485 W. Warm Springs Road, Suite 105, Henderson, Nevada 89014). Dr. Lin-Duffy is the fifth breast surgeon to join the multispecialty practice and has special expertise in breast surgical oncology and the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Her clinical interests include surgical treatment of breast cancer, nipple-sparing mastectomies, ultrasound guided lumpectomies, oncoplastic breast surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsies and axillary node dissections, axillary reverse mapping to minimize lymphedema risk and management of benign breast disease.
Prior to joining Comprehensive, Dr. Lin-Duffy was a breast surgeon with OptumCare Cancer Care and Las Vegas Surgical Associates in Las Vegas. She graduated with a B.A. in communications from the University of Hawaii and completed the post baccalaureate program at La Salle University in Philadelphia, Penn. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a surgical internship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, N.Y., a surgical residency at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Penn., and a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas.
Dr. Lin-Duffy is board certified in general surgery and her research has been presented at a number of industry conferences including the Society of Clinical Vascular Surgery and the Annual Clinic Assembly of Osteopathic Surgeons. She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
Dr. Wang will see patients at Comprehensive’s Southwest Treatment Center (9280 W. Sunset Road, Suite 100, Las Vegas, Nevada 89148) and Summerlin Radiation/CyberKnife Treatment Center (655 N. Town Center Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89144) effective August 1. Dr. Wang is the ninth radiation oncologist to join the practice. Prior to joining Comprehensive, Dr. Wang was a radiation oncology resident at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. He brings extensive training in new technology and procedures to the practice and his research findings have appeared in a number of industry publications including the Journal of Neurosurgery, the Journal of Neuro-Oncology and Physics in Medicine and Biology.
Dr. Wang earned his B.S. in chemical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles and his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
