New Providers at Comprehensive
For those interested in careers in oncology, Comprehensive Cancer Centers is constantly adding talented members to its team, including advanced practice providers. The team just added four new providers in Yashmine Ballesteros, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC; Ana Katrina M. Manalili, MSN, APRN, FNP-C; Aleksandra Siuta, MSN, APRN, FNP-C; and Andrea Schuiling Waldman, PA-C.
Yashmine Ballesteros, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a nurse practitioner at Comprehensive Cancer Centers’ Northwest treatment center where she helps manage the care and treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders. She received an Associate of Science in Nursing from Ohlone University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Touro University Nevada. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner, advanced practice registered nurse with additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
Prior to joining Comprehensive, she served as a registered nurse in the oncology and joint replacement unit at St. Rose Dominican Hospital – San Martin Campus and in orthopedics at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center. Previously, she was a nurse supervisor at Los Altos Sub-Acute and Rehab in Los Altos, California. Yashmine also has clinical experience in pain management, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and psychiatric care.
Ana Katrina M. Manalili, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a radiation oncology nurse practitioner where she provides follow up care to patients undergoing radiation treatment at Comprehensive’s clinics include its Summerlin radiation center, which includes Las Vegas CyberKnife at Summerlin. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner, advanced practice registered nurse with additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. During her 14 years as a registered nurse, she gained experience in nursing administration, intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, medical-surgical and post-partum unit.
Ana has six years of inpatient oncology experience at St. Rose Dominican Hospital – San Martin Campus and has previously worked at University Medical Center, Southern Hills Hospital and Sunrise Hospital. Ana received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in 2010 and 2019.
Andrea Schuiling Waldman, PA-C is a physician assistant where at Comprehensive Cancer’s treatment center in Southeast Henderson. She is currently certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support with the American Heart Association. Prior to joining Comprehensive, she served as an EMT with Royal Ambulance in San Leandro, California and as an emergency medicine physician assistant for Vituity Healthcare. Andrea also has clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, dermatology, surgery, pediatrics, pain management, cardiology and family medicine.
Andrea has a passion for education and community service having served as a graduate student tutor at Touro University Nevada. She volunteered for the Touro University Nevada mobile health clinic where she provided access to primary care for underserved populations in the community as we all provided health care services to battered women and children through The Shade Tree. She also completed a service-learning project with Positively Kids.
Aleksandra Siuta, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a nurse practitioner at Comprehensive’s Central Valley treatment center. As nurse practitioner, she supports Comprehensive’s physicians in helping manage the care and treatment plans for patients with cancer and serious blood disorders. She attended Saint Xavier University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and completed a Master of Science in Nursing at Olivet Nazarene University in the family nurse practitioner program.
Prior to joining Comprehensive, she worked in the Chicago area as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and also in the adult surgical heart intensive care unit at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
