There’s nothing better than a refreshing smoothie on a warm summer day. Smoothies are perfect as a light breakfast, to compliment a delicious meal or as a refreshing snack. A smoothie is even better when its healthy and helps fight cancer, too!

This carrot ginger smoothie is flavorful and full of antioxidants, which have been shown to prevent free radical damage associated with cancer development. Carrots, mango and oranges all contain vitamin A, vitamin C and carotenoid compounds that are linked to disease protection. Ginger adds a great touch of flavor but also helps with digestion and saliva flow to reduce nausea.
