The Comprehensive Cancer Centers breast surgery treatment center in Summerlin offers treatment options including, but not limited to, the following services:

  • Clinical Research Studies: Allows for access to cutting edge treatment and therapies before they become available to the general public.
  • Genetic Risk Screening and Analysis: Individuals at risk for familial and genetic breast cancer have options for surveillance and preventative intervention.
  • Breast Biopsy: A procedure to determine the pathology of a mass, this includes in-office needle biopsies or surgical biopsies.
  • Breast Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures: Ultrasound guided cyst aspirations and needle breast biopsies.
  • Breast Exam and Breast Care Education: Breast examination by a physician with many years of experience as a specialist, and expert instruction in breast care techniques.
  • Lumpectomy: A surgical procedure to remove a benign or malignant tumor and surrounding normal breast tissue.
  • Nipple Sparing Mastectomy: A mastectomy procedure that removes the breast tissue sparing the nipple, if pathology allows for the procedure.

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada’s Summerlin treatment Center offers radiation oncology services including the most innovative and advanced technology in Southern Nevada, CyberKnife® Radiosurgery. CyberKnife®, which is exclusive to the radiation oncologists at Comprehensive Cancer Centers, uses computer-operated robotics and image guidance technology to treat hard-to-reach tumors with precision.

Comprehensive Cancer Centers’ Summerlin Medical Center II medical oncology location is 9,835 sq. ft. and offers 11 exam rooms, laboratory services, a 24-chair infusion suite and pharmacy. In addition to medical oncology and hematology services, this his location houses one of the practice’s breast surgeons.
