Shelley S. Miles, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, AOCNP is part of Comprehensive Cancer’s team of advanced practice providers that help coordinate world-class patient treatment in a supportive and caring environment.
EDUCATION
Shelley Miles, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, AOCNP received her Bachelors of Science in nursing from University of Texas at Arlington in 1994. She received her master’s in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2012. Shelley has certifications in oncology nursing, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and in chemotherapy and biotherapy from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).

Shelley enjoys all aspects of caring for patients with cancer. She also enjoys patient and staff education.
EXPERIENCE
Shelley is a family nurse practitioner at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada where she provides oncology care to patients. She is also the regional representative for The US Oncology Network P&T Committee and a member of the Greater Las Vegas ONS Chapter Symposium Team.
She has participated in various meetings, symposiums and nursing conferences and was former President, Vice President and Director at Large of the Greater Las Vegas ONS Chapter as well as former Historian and Secretary of the Llano Estacado ONS Chapter.
Prior to joining Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, Shelley Miles was the charge nurse at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. She was a nurse manager, staff nurse and gynecology oncology coordinator at Southwest Cancer Center at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas and an oncology nurse at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas.
PATIENT PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is centered around helping patients have the best experience possible during their cancer treatment by providing quality education, listening to the patient, and offering assistance when needed.
PERSONAL
Shelley enjoys spending time with her family and three cats. She takes monthly trips to Disneyland and also spends her time cooking, hiking, and doing yoga.
