You and your family can access various support groups, programs, research information, and publications that provide information, guidance, and an understanding of living through cancer. There are also many resources available for you to learn more about various types of cancers, their treatments and their side effects.

To find out what specific services are available in your area, you can contact the American Cancer Society office listed in your local telephone directory—or call 1.800.ACS.2345.

You should also ask your Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN) medical team about local resources, programs and support groups best suited to your specific requirements.

Cancersurvivor
Cancersurvivor provides you and your family with information and support in coping with cancer. You can post questions and read stories of encouragement from those with similar experiences.

Living With It is your source for support in dealing with recurrent breast cancer, a disease that can touch your life in many different ways.

National Cancer Institute
The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.

National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship
