EDUCATION:
Born and raised in Poland, Dr. Obara completed his medical training at the Medical Academy in Gdansk, Poland. Before moving to the United States, he served as a staff physician at a state hospital in Poland and in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Dr. Obara came to United States in 1989 and attained a position as a postdoctoral associate in chemistry at Georgia State University. He completed his internship and residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Case Western Reserve University.

EXPERIENCE:
Prior to joining Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, Dr. Obara was a physician at the Cancer and Hematology Center of Nevada. He has published two papers, and he is a member of various professional organizations.
