EDUCATION:
A Magna Cum Laude graduate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Dr. Michael received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma and his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Brown University.

EXPERIENCE:
He is board certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology. Currently, he is an on-staff physician for several hospitals including: Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Desert Springs Hospital, St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital and Spring Valley Hospital. Dr. Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The Caring Place. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society.

PERSONAL:
Dr. Michael’s wife, Susan, is a registered nurse and was a professor for 20 years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The Michael’s have three children: Julia, Rebecca and Eric. Dr. Michael’s hobbies include spending time with his family, golf, music, movies and trivia.
