EDUCATION:
Dr. Kashef received his Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he majored in
Physiology and later worked towards a Master’s degree program at the McGill AIDS Center. He completed his Medical
Degree at the University of Iberoamericana School of Medicine. He completed his residency for Internal Medicine at the
University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship
in Medical Oncology at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Kashef is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He began practicing at Kona
Community Hospital in Kona, Hawaii in 2005. He then joined Rowlett Regional Cancer Center in Rowlett, Texas.
Dr.Kashef has recently joined Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada to provide Medical Oncology and
Hematology services.
PERSONAL:
Dr. Kashef is fluent in Persian and Spanish. He is married, has a daughter, and enjoys outdoor activities and cultural
events with his family.
