EDUCATION:
Dr. El-Eid received her medical degree in 1990 from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her general surgery residency at Nassau University in Long Island, New York and a critical care fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

EXPERIENCE:
Dr. El-Eid has been in private practice as a breast surgeon in New York from 1996 to 2009. She moved to Las Vegas in 2009 to provide comprehensive breast care services to Southern Nevada.

Dr. El-Eid served as medical director of the Fern Feldman Anolick Breast Center at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, NY from 2001-2009 and medical director of Women’s Health Center at Kingston Hospital in Kingston, NY from 1997-2003.

In 2006, she received the Cancer Liaison Physician, Outstanding Performance Award from the American College of Surgeons.

In 2009, she chaired and initiated tumor board conferences at St. Rose San Martin Hospital. She has co-authored numerous publications about breast cancer and breast diseases and frequently gives presentations about breast cancer to the public and physicians. She has served as principal investigator for several research studies.

Dr. El-Eid is certified in both ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsies.
